DenomiX Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 7, 2026 • Version: 2.4.0 • Publisher: QGaze WebWorks

The Short Version: Your Financial Data Stays Strictly on Your Device

DenomiX is engineered from the ground up as a 100% client-side, zero-telemetry utility. We do not operate user accounts, we do not have remote servers collecting your denomination counts or cash balances, and we never sell, share, or monetize your activity. What you calculate in DenomiX never leaves your device.

Contents Overview

01 Client-Side Only Architecture

DenomiX is a web-based financial calculation application developed by QGaze WebWorks. Unlike traditional cloud-based accounting platforms, DenomiX executes all mathematical equations, piece tally multiplications, currency conversions, and audit report transcribing locally within your web browser runtime or mobile PWA sandbox.

There are no backend database servers, application servers, or proprietary cloud repositories storing or monitoring your entries. Your cash amounts, register counts, and financial totals exist only in your current browser memory session and local device storage.

02 Information We Do NOT Collect

To provide maximum security for business cashiers, retail clerks, bank tellers, and private individuals, DenomiX adheres to a strict data avoidance standard:

  • Financial Calculations & Denominations: We do not log, track, or transmit the number of notes, coins, subtotals, grand totals, or denominations you count.
  • Banking or Payment Credentials: DenomiX never requests, accesses, or processes bank account numbers, credit/debit card numbers, UPI IDs, or credentials.
  • Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for your name, email address, physical location, phone number, or business identity.
  • Tracking Cookies & Advertising Identifiers: We do not deploy cross-site tracking cookies, behavioral ad pixels (such as Meta Pixel or Google Ads tags), or fingerprinting scripts.

03 Device Local Storage & Data Persistence

DenomiX uses the browser's standard localStorage API purely to retain your operational preferences between sessions. This data is physically stored on your individual device and is never uploaded to any remote server:

Storage Key Data Description Purpose
denomix_theme "light", "dark", or "auto" Remembers your preferred color scheme across visits.
qgw_selected_currency Currency code (e.g., "INR", "USD", "EUR") Reopens the currency matrix you last selected.
qgw_saved_history_logs Timestamped snapshot logs Retains saved cash tallies for your review and CSV export.
qgw_enable_2000_note Boolean ("true" or "false") Stores whether the Indian ₹2000 banknote is visible.

Tip: You can instantly purge all stored records at any moment by clicking "Clear All" in the History section or clearing your browser's local cache.

04 Third-Party Network Requests & APIs

DenomiX minimizes external network interaction. The application only accesses external network resources in the following specific circumstances:

1. Foreign Exchange Rates (Frankfurter API)

When converting amounts between global currencies (e.g. INR to USD), DenomiX retrieves publicly published currency exchange benchmarks from the free, open-source Frankfurter FX API (api.frankfurter.app). This request transmits only the public currency pair (e.g. base currency and target currency). No user calculations, amounts, or identifiers are included in the request.

2. Typography & Font Delivery (Google Fonts)

DenomiX loads high-readability typography (Plus Jakarta Sans and JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts CDN. These requests receive standard browser metadata (such as User-Agent and IP address) in accordance with standard web HTTP protocols.

3. On-Demand PDF Script (Cloudflare cdnjs)

To keep the initial application load ultra-fast and lightweight, the client-side PDF generation library (jspdf) is downloaded on-demand from Cloudflare's cdnjs network only when the user explicitly clicks the "Download PDF" button.

05 Offline Operation & Service Workers

DenomiX includes a Progressive Web App (PWA) Service Worker (sw.js). When you visit the app, static application assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons) are cached in your browser's CacheStorage container.

This enables DenomiX to launch and operate completely without an internet connection. When offline, DenomiX performs all denomination calculations, slip formatting, and data storage normally. No data is queued for background transmission when reconnecting.

06 PDF Slips, CSV Exports & Printing

DenomiX allows users to export and print cash audit slips. All file generation takes place in your browser's volatile memory:

  • CSV Spreadsheets: Compiled dynamically into an in-memory RFC 4180 formatted Blob and downloaded directly to your local storage.
  • PDF Cash Slips: Rendered in-memory using client-side JavaScript (jsPDF) and saved locally via your browser's download manager.
  • Physical Print Slips: Rendered via your browser's native print dialogue (window.print()). No print jobs pass through external cloud print queues.

07 Device Permissions Policy

DenomiX does not request or require access to sensitive device hardware or operating system permissions:

❌ No Access Camera / Scanner
❌ No Access Microphone
❌ No Access Contacts / SMS
❌ No Access Precise GPS

08 Global Privacy Compliance

European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, we operate under the principle of data minimization. Because we do not collect, process, or transmit personal data to external servers, we do not require a cookie consent banner for marketing tracking. Your data deletion rights are immediately exercisable by clearing your browser's local cache.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)

We do not sell, share, or monetize consumer personal information. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.

India Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP)

DenomiX complies with DPDP provisions by avoiding unauthorized collection of digital personal data. All accounting calculations occur solely under the direct physical and digital control of the data principal on their local hardware.

Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)

DenomiX does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13 years of age, nor does it require registration for any feature.
